Creative Catalysts

Creative Catalysts aims to strengthen relationships between UK and East Asian cities by building an innovative community of creative entrepreneurs.

Cities across the world are looking for strategies to create a competitive advantage which will secure their long-term economic and social prosperity. City authorities know they have to compete to attract new citizens to their cities and at the same time create an environment which will prevent creative talent from moving elsewhere. Increasingly, governments are recognising the power of the creative industries to drive the knowledge economy and to symbolise national identity and economic success. They have come to represent high value, highly skilled and flexible economies.
